Education is an essential piece of every person's life. This can be very challenging if someone comes from a different country to Canada.

ERIP and its education partners such as, school divisions, academic institutions and other organizations, work collaboratevely to enhance the support for newcomers in the Canadian education system.

​

Together with our stakeholders, we are committed to identifying the gaps and challenges and raising awareness at the local level.

​

We are currently developing an action plan based on the recommendations from the report taken from consultations done with newcomer parents and youth. School divisions are partnering with us to engage with our communities' feedback.
